The Corsetry Retreat November 2025

Tutors – Michelle Barker and Emma Brackenbury

We hosted many attendees from near and far for Stays fun times, with some attendees travelling from overseas to join us at Caer Beris Manor.

There was a wide range of experience from first timers to repeat attendees. Below are some of their makes and progress from the event, along with some ‘action shots’ and photoshoots by our amazing in-house photographer Kitty of Saxkjaer Photography.

Our guest co-tutor, Michelle Barker from Handbound costumes also gave a fantastic talk and Emma Brackenbury did a hand sewing workshop around the roaring fire. Almost all of the attendees had a go at a few historical methods of hand sewing with a hot chocolate in hand (pjs and fluffy slippers are totally encouraged of course.)
