The Corsetry Retreat XL
Tutors – Elizabeth Moody and Emma Brackenbury
The Corsetry Retreat XL January 16th – 22nd 2026 will be held at the beautiful Caer Beris Manor, a grade II listed building in Wales, surrounded by 18 acres of serene parkland.
Our Retreats include a full schedule of corsetry workshops and talks with experienced tutors and exciting speakers, a gallery of corsetry, as well as time to relax in the historic surroundings, meet with like-minded people, and unwind in the manor’s hot tub or beside an open fire.
The tutoring will be focused on different skill sets needed to create your perfect corset.
- Part one will be pattern drafting, and historical inspiration.
- Part two will consist of toiling and fitting to ensure your corsets fit you perfectly.
- Part three will focus on construction techniques where attendees can sample all the techniques you wanted to use, or the time can be used to start constructing your corsets.
At our XL event you will also have an extra two more days to indulge in further towards completing your corset with the tutors on hand for guidance throughout. As well as the workshops you have come to expect from the corsetry retreat, we will also have a series of guest speakers in attendance, Speakers TBA.

You will leave the event with all the knowledge and materials needed to finish your corsets. Throughout each day our two experienced tutors are on hand to guide you, and each workshop starts with a series of demonstrations led by the tutors and then workshop time where they are there to help you through the processes.
Around the scheduled workshops Emma and Elizabeth will also be on hand to help troubleshoot your existing projects.
Attendees can also enjoy the manor’s hot tub, extensive gardens and the communal areas for socialising.
In addition, materials are provided for the workshops including coutil, boning and busks, flossing threads and eyelets.
All of this is Included in the price of your ensuite as room, as well as home cooked evening meals, breakfasts, lunches and light refreshments provided by our excellent caterers.
